Description:
This is a role within Corporate Actuarial to support the implementation of Solvency II, and associated system changes, required within Corporate Actuarial and Actuarial Services. The successful outcome of these projects in 2010 and 2011 is paramount to the success of our clients Solvency II implementation.
The project requires an individual with good experience of testing new system developments whether IS based or product development area. The candidate must have excellent numerical skills and attention to detail. Life insurance experience is required for the role.
The Role will involve
Understanding business (actuarial) requirements of requested developments
Liaise with the Solvency II IS team and agree test plans
Agree timeline with BAU team for Parallel DCS, Funding runs etc.
Work to strict deadlines on the test plans
Specify any refinements for IS
Document testing plans
Produce weekly progress reports on the testing plans
Aid in the transfer of new processes in business-as-usual
Liaise between the Actuarial Service and Corporate Actuarial for any issues the cross-over between the departments.
Liaise with the various business areas to respond to queries that arise while testing and provide support for project with the business areas |
