Outline of the role:
The Model Development team in 2010 will focus on developing our model environment, to ensure our client is prepared to implement the detailed rules of Solvency II across its product modelling platform, by ensuring close to full coverage of its products on the Prophet modelling platform.
Prioritisation of development work within this project will be determined by the Model Development team, after consultation with the Financial Reporting Teams and Appointed Actuary.
While it expected that much of the Model Development teams work over the next 12 months will be focused on this project, there will also be new product launches which will require Prophet development work, which will divert resources from the existing team.
The Role will involve:
Coding of the Prophet system
Working with the Corporate Actuarial area to understand requirements of new developments
Reasonableness checking of results
Working through the change control process for Prophet, including developing and documenting testing plans
Aid in the transfer of new processes in business-as-usual |
