Description:
Reporting line:-
The successful candidate will report into the senior sector analyst covering insurance.
Responsibilities:-
Generally support the senior analyst in his coverage of the insurance sector
Construct and maintain financial/valuation models on stocks under coverage
Conduct industry research (including fieldwork) and develop industry models
Contribute commentary to equity research reports
Respond to queries from clients, salespeople or sales traders for stock or sector views when the senior analyst is not available
Required Skills and Knowledge:-
Minimum 2 years relevant work experience in the life insurance sector, with a good understanding of EV's and statutory valuation
Strong analytical abilities
In depth knowledge of current accounting standards
Financial modelling skills (forecasting P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements)
Good interpersonal and presentation skills
Excellent communication skills |
